During his trip to Europe to attend the World Notarial University 2026, held in Rome, the President of the UINL, David Figueroa Márquez, made an official visit to the Notariats of Spain and then Italy.
Strengthening ties with the Spanish notariat
On 29 June, President David Figueroa Márquez, held a working meeting with the General Council of the Spanish Notariat, with the aim of reviewing matters of mutual cooperation and to express gratitude and recognition for its valuable contribution as a founding member of the UINL.
During the meeting, the important work carried out by the Spanish notariat in the field of technology was acknowledged, highlighting its progress as a benchmark for modernisation, legal certainty and the efficiency of notarial services.
This visit reaffirms the UINL’s commitment to promoting dialogue, international collaboration and the exchange of best practice for the benefit of the notarial profession worldwide.
Recognition of the Italian notariat’s support for the UINL
On 2 July, President David Figueroa Márquez held a meeting with the National Council of the Italian Notariat, as part of the UINL’s institutional activities.
During the meeting, sincere thanks were expressed to the Italian notariat for its participation, commitment and ongoing support for the International Union of Notaries, from its foundation to the present day.
This meeting reaffirms the bonds of cooperation, unity and trust that have characterised the work of the Italian Notariat within the international notarial community.
