On Friday, 27 February 2026, in Mexico City, the first Steering Committee of the 2026–2028 term of the UINL was held, chaired by the Mexican notary David Figueroa Márquez.
As part of this inaugural session, the new members of the Steering Committee examined the President’s action plan and proceeded to elect the heads of the various UINL working groups and members of the UINL commissions, thus marking the official beginning of this new institutional period.
This first Steering Committee was preceded by the handover ceremony between the 2023–2025 Presidency, held by the French notary Lionel Galliez, and the new 2026–2028 Presidency, entrusted to Dr. Not. David Figueroa Márquez.
