Noticias Principles on Identification for Sustainable Development: Toward the Digital Age - Second Edition endorsed by UINL
07/04/2021 UINL has renewed his endorsement of the World Bank “Principles on Identification for Sustainable Development: Toward the Digital Age”.
The Principles on Identification for Sustainable Development were originally published in 2017.
These Principles have since been integrated into global standards and policies. Indeed, an increasing number of countries have used the Principles to design new identification systems or reform existing ones. They also serve as a guiding framework for the organizations that endorse them.
To ensure that the Principles continue to reflect new realities and good practice, the drafters committed to reviewing them after three years.
As a result, an updated version of the Principles, the result of multiple consultations, was jointly endorsed by 28 organizations including UINL.
