The American Affairs Commission is formed by the presidents of Member Chambers of Notaries or their representatives that are part of the American continent. In addition to general objectives, the American Affairs Commission pursues the following specific aims:

• to lend assistance to American Chambers of Notaries to favour their organisation in associations and groups and help them develop and improve professional practice;
• to promote both the initial and continued training of notaries in its field of action through the intermediary of the American Notarial Academy.
