The African Affairs Commission is formed by the presidents of member Chambers of Notaries or their representatives and the General Councillors that are part of the African continent.

In addition to general objectives, the African Affairs Commission pursues the following specific aims:

• to lend assistance to African Chambers of Notaries to favour their organisation in associations and groups and help them develop and improve professional practice;
• to promote both the initial and continued training of notaries in its field of action through the intermediary of the Université du Notariat d’Afrique
