World Notariat meetings in Lisbon
News World Notariat meetings in Lisbon
19/11/2024 The Portuguese Notaries Association hosted UINL's institutional meetings (commissions, working groups, Steering Committee, General Council and General Assembly of Member Notariats) for 4 days in Lisbon, from November 6 to 9, 2024.
Over 450 people attended these international meetings, including three Ministers of Justice: the Ministers of Portugal, Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau.
The circulation of public documents within the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) was one of the main topics covered during these meetings. The round table dedicated to this theme was an opportunity to meet the Notariats of Cape Verde, Mozambique, Angola, Sao-Tomé-Et-Principe and Guinea-Bissau.
A new African member has also joined the Union during the meeting in Lisbon: the Notariat of Burundi, whose admission was confirmed by the General Assembly of Member Notariats.
We welcome Burundi as UINL's 92nd Member Notariat!
We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to the Portuguese Notariat for organizing this high-quality event!
