Notarial activity is a vector of equality between men and women: this was the theme of the Gender Equality Working Group's webinar, held on 8 March 2024 to mark International Women's Day.

Following the webinar, the President of the working group, Pr. Cristina Armella, published an online booklet (free access) containing all the contributions made by speakers from America, Asia, Africa and Europe on the practical implementation of the principle of equality between men and women.

This collection reveals how notaries are involved in the prevention of economic violence against women, the inclusion of women in technological innovation, women's access to land and housing and women's economic empowerment.
