The Ninth International Forum of NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO on the theme “Another Perspective on Migration”, that will take place in Tunis, Tunisia on 26 and 27 September 2018, hosted by the Arab Institute for Human Rights of Tunis.

Organized by the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee in cooperation with UNESCO Secretariat this Forum aims at addressing human mobility, its dynamics and repercussions to building a lasting peace and ensuring an harmonious and sustainable development of our planet, along with UNESCO’s mandate. Its final goal is to analyze migration flows and their impact under the perspective of NGOs as active actors of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Forum will be followed in Tunis by two other events organized by the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee on 28 and 29 September, for which more information is available in the Committee web site.

If, as we hope, your Organization is in a position to participate in this Forum, we should be most grateful if you would kindly pre-register your representatives online before 30 July 2018. Kindly note that, as customary, the travel expenses of representatives must be borne by the organization they represent. The organizers, within the limits of available places, will cover accommodation costs (hotel and meals). In this regard, please refer to the attached practical information document.
