30/06/2019 The Mongolian chamber of notaries was elected to lead the Asian Affairs Commission of the UINL (CAAs) in 2019 and the President of the notariat, Ms. Ononchimeg Ryenchindorj took the function of the rotating President of the Asian Affairs Commission.
The Mongolian Chamber of notaries successfully organized the 9th Plenary session of the CAAs along with the international symposium under the themes “The protection of the property rights of disabled person, minors and elderly persons” and “The Role of notariats in combating terrorism financing and money laundering” in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The Mongolian chamber of notaries organized this symposium in cooperation with the Federal Chamber of notaries, French High council of notaries, the Ministry of Justice and Home affairs of Mongolia, the Ministry of Labor and social protection of Mongolia, the General Judicial council of Mongolia, the National Human rights commission of Mongolia and the Law School of the National University of Mongolia.
In this CAAs session and symposium, the President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga, the Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh conveyed their greetings and state high officials including the Member of Parliament, the Head of the Standing Committee for legal affairs Kh.Nyambaatar, the Member of Parliament, the Minister of Justice and Home affairs of Mongolia Ts.Nyamdorj, the member of Parliament N.Oyundari, N.Uchral, Chairman of City Council R.Dagva were present and participated.
Moreover, the symposium emphasized that the role of notaries in society is not limited to the mere registration of immovable properties, the property rights transfer and regulation of inheritance, but rather that the notaries have a wide role and function, particularly, in combating money laundering and terrorism financing, and in protecting the property rights of disabled persons, minors and elderly persons.
